30 june 2010 meeting

Tomorrow there is meeting. here are the details.....

- 1415-1430 : Patrol In council...which is do the what u want to achieve thingy

-1430-1540 : SS Knotting ( we might prolong it if we see you all need practise, but we won't cancel games)

-1540-1630: Games (tell me what games you want)

-1630-1730: Physical training

1730-1800: Admin stuff like PIC etc and Buffer time( extra time)

1800: dismiss....

*maybe longer as you all know, there might be delay

Attire: PT kit 1

Things to bring: Training manual ( need 3..i am bringing one)

*I will be posting all details by the day before the meeting by 5...so please take note...

Decisions made during BUMPER activity

HI....i would like first to thank those who came for the bumper activity. For those who didn't want to or can't, there would be another one during the holidays. FYI: IT was very fun!!!!

Alright, here is the decisions we made during the bumper activity.

-Meetings *sorry guys, cos SPL change the test dates, we have to replan the activity. For the first meeting me and liang xiang would decide. rest assure it will be training and many games :D

-Reassign of roles: Weiyang>>First aider

Yi Kai>>>>Treasure

George>>>Quartermaster * Please correct me if i am wrong

Patrol Funds: From now on, every month each of us will pay $2 to the funds collected by the treasurer. If you have financial problem please let us know.

Possible bumper next friday: As you all should know, next friday is youth day and there is no meeting. However i would like to bring all of you to the army market to buy your footdrill boots and kiwi, and also our patrol fist aid stuff.

Patrol shirt: In order to bond well, we are thinking of making a patrol shirt. I will tell all of you next week. If u know any CHEAP shirt manufacture please let me know my commenting .

Lastly, I would all of you to visit this blog at least once a day. Meeting details would also be here. Best is to visit 5pm-6pm as by then i would publish the details. Thank you.

And have a great TERM 3 :D......*although it wouldn't....LOL!!! hahaha :D

Decisions made during BUMPER activity

Test Dates

Hi...the following is the test dates in term 3 and 4 in order for you to pass SS (scout standard) and ASS (advanced scout standard). So please take note and also please revise using your Training manual.

21 july : SS (sec 1) and ASS(sec 2 and 3) knotting test

23 July: SS and ASS footdrill practice

28 July: SS theory test *VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

17 September: SS ( dome tent) and ASS( 6-men tent) campcraft

15 October: SS backwoodsman (cooking)

Ahmad Ibrahim Campfire (IMPORTAN!!)

Ok people! On 25/6/10, friday, for the Ahmad Ibrahim campfire, pls meet at 5.30pm at Yishun MRT in full scout uniform wearing our unit scarf (the blue one).
Pls spread the message.

19 june 2010 scout meeting (this saturday)

Hi...there is a scout meeting on 19 june 2010, which is this saturday. Wear PT kit 1, which is ur unit shirt, pe pants, scout socks and shoe, and meet at the scout den at 1. It will end at 5.

After that would be Southern cross campfire at st gabriel, so bring along your Full scout Uniform.

Whoever who can't go please tell me the reason why by commenting. Thank you.

Bumper Activity on 24 June 2010

Our Bumper Activity next Thursday on 24 June. Everyone is to come. Attendance is compulsory

I will put more details later some time but keep that day free.

Currently we are thinking of playing badminton or bowling, if you prefer any other things please comment.

* Bumper activity: A activity which you could do anything legal and fun for patrol bonding :D

This Friday, There will be a campfire at St Gabriel Secondary School.

Meet at the scout den at 5:30 pm in Full Scout Uniform.
